Craftsmanship
Drawn in Swat, stitched by hand

The drawing
The holly, berry and pine composition is drawn by hand, then transferred to ivory silk.

The stitching
Worked in Resham silk thread with Dabka gold wire. The bell alone takes a full day.

The finishing
The gold border is edged, pearls are set, and the maker signs the piece before it is numbered.
